Who we are

Blooms & Beyond, a Ferns N Petals franchise store at South City, Ludhiana, is the data fiduciary for the Blooms Reminder Club. Contact us at ldhstore@bloomsandbeyond.in or +91 85560 61000.

The person responsible for answering questions about your data is Sushant Jhamb, owner, Blooms & Beyond.

What we collect

  • Your name and WhatsApp number.
  • Your area or colony.
  • The occasions you ask us to remember — the type, the day and month, the first name of the person it is for, and how they are related to you.
  • A record of your consent: when you gave it, how you gave it, and the exact wording you agreed to.

We do not ask for your date of birth year, your address, your email, or any payment details for this service. We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

Children

If an occasion is for someone under 18, we store only their first name and the day and month. We never store a child's contact number or address, and we never send a message to a child. Reminders about a child's birthday go only to the adult who gave us the date.

Why we hold it, and on what basis

We use these details only to remind you, on WhatsApp or SMS, about an occasion roughly a week before it happens, and to send you at most two festival offers in a month. We do this on the basis of the consent you gave when you signed up. We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for their own marketing.

How reminders are sent

Our system never messages you by itself. It prepares a reminder, and a member of our store staff reads it and sends it from the store's own WhatsApp number.

Where it is stored

In a Google Workspace account controlled by the store, accessible only to the store account and the owner. Access is limited to those two accounts.

How long we keep it

For as long as you want reminders. If you withdraw, we delete your occasions and your personal details straight away. We keep two things: the record that consent was given and then withdrawn, which the law requires us to be able to show, and a one-way scrambled version of your number so that an old file can never add you back by mistake. Your original number cannot be recovered from it. Billing and invoice records are kept separately for as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

  • Ask us what we hold about you, and get a copy.
  • Have anything wrong corrected or completed.
  • Have your details erased.
  • Withdraw consent at any time — as easily as you gave it.
  • Nominate someone to exercise these rights if you are unable to.
  • Raise a grievance with us, and if we do not resolve it, with the Data Protection Board of India.

How to withdraw

Reply STOP to any of our WhatsApp messages, call the store on +91 85560 61000, or email ldhstore@bloomsandbeyond.in. We act on it the same day the store sees it. You do not have to give a reason.

Grievances

Write to Sushant Jhamb, owner, Blooms & Beyond, at ldhstore@bloomsandbeyond.in with "Privacy" in the subject line, or call +91 85560 61000. We will respond within 30 days. If we do not resolve it, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
